Nicola Maria Rose (Nikki) is the founder of HushAway® and a lifelong advocate for children’s wellbeing. An award-winning trainer & coach, certified Neurodivergent Inclusive Coach, ADHD Coach and Sound Therapy Practitioner, Nikki blends mentoring, coaching, storytelling and sound to create audio experiences that help children self-regulate, settle to sleep, and feel emotionally safe. With seven years as an award-winning nursery owner, Nikki understands the real moments families and educators face - transitions, overwhelm, and the need for a gentle “pause button.” Drawing on 20+ years in business, brand, and marketing, Nikki designs HushAway® to be simple, trusted, and ready for real life: two-to-five-minute stories, micro-meditations, and soundscapes crafted with ASMR, Solfeggio frequencies, and binaural beats. Nikki’s approach is warm, empathetic, and evidence-informed – supporting children before and alongside formal diagnosis, and championing co-regulation at home and in schools. Nikki also volunteers with Bookmark, recording and reading to help early readers build calm, confidence, and a love of stories. Above all, Nikki believes that “one quiet moment can change a whole day for a child - sound is an incredible healer. Let’s help our children tune in to it.”
