Rebekah Gear (she/her)
Rebekah Gear is a senior lecturer at Nottingham Trent University whose recent research focuses on children’s agency, outdoor learning, and practitioner-led inquiry. Her work explores how adult language, environmental design and risk narratives shape children’s autonomy. She is the creator of the Reimagining Outdoor Learning: Outdoor Agency Toolkit, a free, research-informed resource supporting early years practitioners to strengthen children’s agency outdoors.
