Tasha Bretten

Tasha is a qualified Primary School Teacher, who taught around the UK and abroad for almost 13 years, the final few being specifically in year 1 where she experienced a strong focus on phonics. She first discovered Boogie Mites when her eldest child came home from nursery singing the songs from the Boogie Mites School Ready Programme, and this became the soundtrack to her life for the next 2 years, and where it became evident that music was a fantastic tool for learning. Whilst on maternity leave with her second child, Tasha attended a 6-week Boogie Mites Babies course, and this re-ignited her curiosity in the Boogie Mites magic, having noticed again how responsive her own children were to the musical activities and seeing the neurological benefits first-hand. As a classically trained singer, and keen theatre enthusiast, Tasha saw that Boogie Mites was the perfect way to blend all of her passions together – music, singing AND education, and, after leaving classroom teaching, she decided to focus on the brain-boosting benefits of music teaching in early childhood with Boogie Mites.
